• At 14.00, Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals.


• Having dinner in the orchard garden.


• At nightfall we started out on an expedition to find fireflies. From a small dugout boat with rickety seats we paddled down canals lined with little shrubs where fireflies flickered in the night. Our guide had a special firefly net which consisted of a cloth bag attached to a bamboo pole and after some effort scooped fireflies off the leaves and into our hands. With stars sparking above, flashing bugs lighting up our fingers and frogs croaking nearby it was a night to remember.


• Return to Ho Chi Minh city by road.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival – shopping areas (L/D)

• Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat international airport, meeting your tour guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel. After short rest, transfer to Halal restaurant for having lunch. After that, walking along Le Loi street and Dong Khoi street for shopping. You can find many products with famous trademark such as Addidas, Nike, Clark outlet at these shops located on these streets.


• Visit Vincom building where has many luxury goods been sold with big promotion.


• Dinner at Halal Saigon restaurant. Shopping at the night market.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh sightseeing – shopping areas – water puppet show (B/L/D)

• Breakfast at your hotel. At 8.30 am, start your city tour visit War Remnant Museum, Hard Rock coffee. Stop over for shopping at Hong Anh collection and Rohani collection. Visit Mousque Rahim.


• Having lunch at Hala restuarant. Return to your hotel for taking a short rest. Transfer to Russian Market for shopping. Proceed to District 7 for shopping at Supplier House. Return the city center for enjoy water puppet show.

Day 3: China town – local markets  & departure (B/L/_)

• Breakfast at your hotel. At 8. 30am, driving to Cho Lon market which locates in the China town. You can find many products such as textiles, electric, cosmetic, shoes, leather, germs … at this market. After visiting Silk Supplier in  district 6, return to the center. Stop for shopping at An Dong market, one of the biggest local market in Ho Chi Minh city.


• Visit Jamia al Muslimin Mousque. Trying your bargain at Ben Thanh market where everything is for sales. Taking a short walking to Sai Gon Square a new center shopping in Ho Chi Minh city. Your city tour ends at Parkson plaza.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city and arrival.

After break time for lunch, we will visit the Independence Palace – the residence of the president of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, and some beautiful French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Catheral and the Old Central Post Office, the City hall.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi tunnels(B/L/_)

• Breakfast at the hotel. At 8.15am -  Drive west to Tay Ninh, the centre of Caodaism. O­n arrival we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.


• O­n the way back, stop to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war.


• Drive back to HCMC around 6.00pm.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L/_S)

Visit the My Tho fishing village, floating fish farm. Proceed to Tortoise island and have lunch in the orchard. • After breakfast, Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Răng floating market which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only o­ne stem of bamboo.

Ho Chi Minh City Cyclo Tour

The Ho Chi Minh City excursion will take travelers around the biggest city of  Vietnam, from downtown city center to Chinatown. You will discover its history and culture with visits at the War Remnant Museum or History Museum and Thien Hau Temple. You will learn about the past as well as get a glimpse of the daily life of stall and street vendors at the Binh Tay Market in the Chinatown and learn the French colonial building of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Municipal Post Office.

Option 1: Saigon central cyclo trip

• We will pick you up at your hotel within hotels in district 1or district 3.


• Visit History Museum, City Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral for photos, Dong Khoi street (first street in Saigon), Old Market (first market in Saigon), Opera House. We continue to Giac Lam pagoda (Vietnamese style), Jade pagoda (Chinese style).

Option 2:  Cyclo trip outside Saigon center

•  We will pick you up at  your hotel within hotels in district 1or district 3. Cyclo takes you to China Town to Thien Hau temple and Binh Tay Market. Can Gio is a low palm-fringed island sitting at the mouth of the Saigon River, some 25km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. The mangroves forest in Can Gio possesses a high biodiversity with more than 200 species of fauna and 52 species of flora. The effects of the recent wars on these ecosystems have been devastating and large efforts have been made by local people to rehabilitate the mangroves.Today, it has become one of the most extensive sites of rehabilitated mangroves in the world. The island, which is at the intersection between the Saigon River and the sea, was created by silt washing downstream. It’s hard-packed mud rather than sandy beach, so attracts few visitors and the area remains entirely undeveloped.

• Meeting point at our office, we start the tour at 8.00 am visiting Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get good shots for our memory of the big, modern city of Vietnam. Continue the city tour, visiting the Reunification Palace. Trying your bargain at Ben Thanh market for everything for sales (drop off only)


• Having a light lunch at local restaurant.

• At 13.00, proceed to Cu Chi tunnels. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war.
